57 Bonaventura Dr, San Jose, CA 95134 (Map & Directions)
Hidaya Foundaiton’s Warehouse is Open with Social Distancing Measures.
Operation Hours: Saturdays & Sundays from 12:00pm – 4:00pm
Since 1999, Hidaya has sent nearly 400 40ft. containers to benefit hundreds of thousands of people via the Container Shipment for In-Kind Donations project!
Hidaya Foundation collects new and gently used in-kind donations to help the economically weak overseas. According to Hidaya’s current business model, in-kind donations are not sold, rather they are given to those in need.
Cost to ship each container of in-kind donations are rapidly rising. Lately it costs $7,500+ to ship each container (used to be $5000+). Each 40ft container, depending on its contents typically benefits anywhere from 10,000 people to 40,000 people!
Note About Our Warehouse In-Kind Collection Center: We do not sell any of the in-kind donations, everything is given away. So we depend on donors to make an additional monetary donation (also tax-deductible) to chip in towards the shipment and operation costs of this project so it can sustain itself ($1 per pound, or any amount you can give). Drastically rising costs for shipping and problems with the supply chain are bringing even more challenges to running this project as of late. If you like and appreciate our collection center, please donate monetarily towards it so we can continue providing this service!
