Nepal Flash Flood

A severe flash flood occurred in Rasuwa District, Nepal, on 26 August 2026. The sudden flooding severely affected Timure, Rasuwagadhi, Syabrubesi and surrounding river communities, causing significant damage to homes, businesses, roads, hydropower infrastructure and essential services. Access to some affected areas has also been disrupted, creating additional challenges for vulnerable families.

Hidaya Foundation is collaborating with partners on the ground to deliver crucial relief. They are conducting rapid emergency response to assist the most affected and vulnerable households with essential food, safe drinking water, shelter, hygiene materials and basic health support to families affected by this devastating disaster.
