Financial assistance for orphans including sustenance and educational needs
Orphans in South Asia and Africa, as a part of the society, suffer the most because of lack of governmental programs to address their needs and welfare. Often, orphans in these regions are supported by local communities at a bare minimum survival stage. A good number of them may be very intelligent but, because of lack of financial support, they cannot develop and utilize their skills through education and are unable to avail the opportunities around them.
The objective of this project is to: - meet basic survival needs of orphan children
- provide financial support to put them through schools and colleges
- monitor their progress to ensure that they complete their education
- remove obstacles that may hinder their progress
This process will help them become contributing, law-abiding citizens of their respective societies. In order to promote a stable family life and healthy environment at home, a monthly allowance is offered to widowed mothers, so that the child is not forced to work to provide for the family.
This monumental task requires a large team of highly dedicated individuals who understand the rewards of serving orphans. Hidaya follows a rigorous selection and training process to ensure they are ready to take on the challenges of this slow and tedious task.
Hidaya Foundation has taken the challenge to reach out to these orphan children and make them feel that there are people in this world who love and care for them. The cost to support orphans ranges between $30 and $50 per month depending on the region. Your donation to support this noble cause can help an orphan child lead a normal life – a worthwhile cause in this world, and in the hereafter.
