Indonesia Flood 2007

On February 2, 2007 torrential rains caused rivers to rise and submerge much of Jakarta under water. Over 300,000 people in the Indonesian capital were affected. Hidaya Foundation provided aid to over affected people in Indonesia in the form of dry ration, cleaning supplies, children backpacks, uniforms, school supplies, shoes and cash assistance to help rebuild their lives. Over 600 families were supported in South Jakarta and 575 families were supported in East Jakarta.
