Bangladesh Floods 2022
Monsoon downpours triggered catastrophic flooding in Bangladesh in June 2022, leaving millions stranded amid swollen rivers that engulfed their villages and destroyed their homes. The flooding in some regions is said to be the worst in more than 100 years.
Most people’s food supply was destroyed with no means for cooking until flood waters recede, leaving them unable to feed their families.
Working with our partners on the ground, Hidaya Foundation is administering emergency food distribution in this critical time and will also be helping with rebuilding projects after waters recede in shaa Allah. Please see below for pictures from the field during distribution.
