Mohammad Asrar

Mohammad Asrar (age 35) is the sole bread winner of his family. He supports five family members including his wife, two daughters and his mother who is ill. He earned no more than Rs 75/- (less than $1) per day, as an employee at a tailors shop. Hidaya Foundation helped Mohammad Asrar by providing him with the finances to start his own tailoring business. He was able to buy two sewing machines, and all the accessories needed to run his business. Two months later, Mohammad Asrar is earning at least three times what he made before he had a shop. He has also employed three other people to help him with his business. He is also able to pay for the treatment of his mother.
