From Unemployment to Self Employment


Sewing Machines distribution

Hidaya donates sewing machines to females coming from weak economic background during the year after completion of six months training at Hidaya's training center.  This training was provided under Hidaya's Vocational training project.  These machines will be used by the recipients for generating extra income for the family as all of them are fully trained.

Goat Farming

648 female goats were given to Widows and economically weaker families.  These families will be using milk for day to day needs, raise the kids (Approximately 3 to 5 per year) in turn improving their economical condition.

Small Businesses 


Hidaya helps eleven struggling families with building and establishing their own businesses during the year. These businesses include shops, street vending carts, livestock businesses., auto rickshaws...etc. To learn more about these individuals and their businesses, click here .

Sitara-e-Isaar Awarded to Hidaya Foundation

Hidaya Foundation was awarded Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) by the Government of Pakistan, in recognition of the results-oriented relief efforts during the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan.

Combined Federal Campaign

Hidaya Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) with FEIN 77-0502583. All cash and in-kind donations are tax deductible. Hidaya puts it’s best effort to utilize the funds donated for a specific project, sometimes circumstances dictate we use funds otherwise.
