Disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, tornados and hurricanes  can happen with little or no warning signs and the damages they cause on human life and property can be devastating.

In these current times we are living in when disasters are becoming more and more frequent all over the world, Hidaya Foundation strongly encourages everyone to be prepared and equipped in case a disaster should strike in their home town -  so they may be able to help themselves, their families and neighbors if such an event should happen (may Allah protect us).

Hidaya Foundation works with communities and individuals near our headquarters in the San Francisco Bay Area to get them trained at local training programs which allow them to become part of community response teams.  Hidaya also raises awareness and guides people towards how they can get similar training in other parts of the country.
