As Salaamu Alaikum (May Peace Be Upon You),

Hidaya Foundation (www.hidaya.org) takes financial integrity and the security of its donor, employees and volunteers very seriously.  We continuously strive to improve our processes, operations and logistics to ensure we can operate safely, and comply with all local laws and regulations in the ever changing and unpredictable environment.

Here are three examples of the measures taken by Hidaya to ensure Donor Safety:

2007 Financial Audit:

With the blessings of Allah (swt), on March 5, 2008 Hidaya Foundation successfully completed its fiscal year 2007 audit conducted by an independent auditor.  A copy of the unqualified audited financial statements is available for your review at:

Controlled Program Execution
:

Hidaya Foundation executes projects in a highly structured and controlled manner by following strict processes and procedures. All of its employees, volunteers, and partner organizations are required to follow all the procedures and guidelines set forth by the corporate office.

To review a summary of current and past projects, please follow this link:

Each project is fully documented in the form of Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality, continuity and a template for future use.  These SOPs outline full life cycle of every project that is undertaken by Hidaya, including the Scope of Work, Field Operations Details, Project Proposals, Time Line, Approvals, Execution Milestones, Monthly Project Reviews and Final Project Completion Reports. Beneficiaries are required to complete standardized application forms which are reviewed by management, investigated and approved before assistance is provided.  To see a sample of Hidaya's SOPs please click:

Anti-Terrorism Database
:

While Hidaya tries its best to work through its own infrastructure and employees, sometimes a need may arise to work with a partner organization. Hidaya qualifies the organization along with its board of directors by checking against the anti-terrorism databases maintained by the United Nations, US Department of Treasury and the European Union.

Your donations are safe with Hidaya, inshallah.  All donors receive Donation Receipts for both cash or in kind donations.
