As Salaamu Alaikum (Peace Be Upon You),

The Prophet (peace be upon him) had said, “Sadaqah (Charity) extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire.” (Tirmidhi #2541)

Hidaya Foundation (www.hidaya.org) distributes Sadaqah in the form of animal meat, cash, dry ration, clean drinking water (hand pump).  Sadaqah can also be used to build schools and hospitals. The cost of donating animal meat from a whole goat/lamb is $75.00.  The cost of donating animal meat from a whole ox/buffalo is $280.00.  Sadaqah in the form of meat is distributed within 72 hours on receipt of request.
