Disaster Preparedness Team

 

Accomplishments

  • Level 1: Learn to help yourself and your family in times of disaster
    • 2 people have completed Level I Training
    • 6 people are registered for upcoming classes
  • Level 2: Become part of your community's response team
    • 1 person has completed Level 2 Training 
    • 6 people are registered for upcoming classes

To date, the DPT Project has produced 22 people with a Level I status, and 27 people with a Level II status.

Sitara-e-Isaar Awarded to Hidaya Foundation

Hidaya Foundation was awarded Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) by the Government of Pakistan, in recognition of the results-oriented relief efforts during the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan, during a special ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, DC, on September 21, 2006.
